AGAPE Receives $5,000 Grant to Support Local Communities in Need

AGAPE is excited to announce that it has received a $5,000 grant from the Pearls with a Passion Fund through the First Community Foundation Partnership of Pennsylvania (FCFP). This generous grant will go a long way in helping AGAPE continue its mission to ensure no one falls through the cracks in the communities it serves—Columbia, Montour, and Northumberland Counties.

The grant will specifically support AGAPE’s efforts to provide essential feminine hygiene products to local schools and through their monthly distribution programs. This initiative aims to reduce absenteeism in schools and workplaces, ensuring that girls and women have access to necessary hygiene items so they can thrive without worry.

Karla Alexander, AGAPE’s Executive Director, expressed her gratitude: “Thanks to the support of FCFP and the Pearls with a Passion Fund, we can continue providing vital services to our friends and neighbors in need. We’re truly grateful for this opportunity.”
