We believe lasting progress happens through collaboration. That belief is the foundation of a new community initiative focused on creating open, solution-oriented conversations about homelessness in our area.
This initiative is intended to bring together neighborhood residents, local business owners, community partners, and others who want to be part of a thoughtful and constructive dialogue. Our goal is not simply to discuss concerns, but to identify practical ways we can support one another, strengthen our community, and work toward long-term solutions together.
We recognize that homelessness impacts people differently. Business owners, residents, service organizations, and individuals experiencing hardship may all bring different perspectives and experiences. By creating space for respectful conversation and collaboration, we hope to build greater understanding and encourage community-driven solutions rooted in compassion, dignity, and shared responsibility.
At AGAPE, our mission has always been to “fill in the gaps” for individuals and families in need. We know that no single organization can address every challenge alone. It truly takes a village.
As this initiative develops, we look forward to engaging with community members who want to be a part of the conversation and part of the solution.
