You Don’t Have to Face Hardship Alone.

At AGAPE, we work hand-in-hand with local organizations and dedicated volunteers to bring hope and lasting support to individuals and families throughout Columbia, Montour, and Northumberland Counties. Our mission goes beyond immediate crisis relief — we’re here to help you take meaningful steps toward stability, self-sufficiency, and a brighter future.

Need Support?

If you or someone you care about is going through a difficult time, we’re here to help. Whether it’s food, clothing, furniture, financial assistance, or simply connecting you with the right resources, AGAPE offers support when you need it most.

We serve on a first come, first served basis — and we encourage you to complete our Benevolence Application ahead of time to help us serve you more efficiently during your visit.

Our Programs

From food and clothing to family care and emergency response, our programs are here to help when you need it most.

Life’s Essentials

Life’s Essentials is AGAPE’s frontline response to urgent needs in our community. From financial assistance to emergency shelter and disaster recovery, we meet people where they are. Through practical support and compassionate care, we help neighbors find stability in times of crisis.

Daily Bread

Daily Bread is AGAPE’s hunger relief initiative, serving individuals and families across Columbia, Montour, and Northumberland Counties. Through daily meal support, food pantry coordination, and emergency food access, we help ensure no one in our community goes hungry.

Family Care

AGAPE’s Family Care Programs support the whole family—mind, body, and spirit—at every stage of life. Through practical help, emotional support, education, and encouragement, we walk alongside families on their journey toward stability and hope.

Bare Necessities

AGAPE’s Bare Necessities program provides essential hygiene items and clothing basics to individuals and families facing financial hardship. By offering items like hygiene products, undergarments, and socks, the program supports dignity, health, and everyday stability. Distribution takes place through schools, community partners, and AGAPE’s monthly Fresh Express events.

Joseph’s Storehouse

Joseph’s Storehouse helps individuals and families turn empty spaces into homes. Through donations from community members and retail partners, we provide essential furniture and household items free of charge.

Disaster Response

AGAPE’s Disaster Response program is activated when widespread emergencies strike our region. We coordinate with local, state, and national agencies to support community recovery efforts. In times of crisis, we also serve as a hub for collecting and distributing disaster relief supplies to those in need locally and beyond.
